(If you are intrested in keeping Cichlids, please feel free to stop-in or email and we will help you however we can. Cichlid care can differs not only on the continent they are from, but also the region. Great care should be used when keeping these beautiful animals as their needs change greatly depending on where they are from.)

Live-Bearers:

(Aside from Tetra's, these may be one of the most commonly distributed genus of fresh water fish. Their basic ease of care and brilliant colors, make them a favorite of most tropical fish enthusiast.) Live-Bearers enjoy a slightly higher pH lever then 7.0 and take a small level of aquarium salt in their enviroment.

Labyrinth Fish:

Although gouramis can make great community inhabitants, they can be somewhat territorial and should be housed in a large system with plenty of swiming room. (Tetras enjoy a lower pH then most other fish, 6.8. In a stable enviroment with appropiate heating and filtration they will usually thrive and enjoy "schooling" together.)
