Africa, Eastern and depending on mutation.

Diet:

Basic seed mix of parakeet, finch and wild bird.

Hens usually have broader head, shoulders and pevlic regions

Life-span:

10-20 years

Nesting:

Red-faced lovebirds in nature tunnel in a termite mound to nest, this has been similated by building a large nesting box and filling it with cork, enabling the hen to tunnel to her hearts content re(Mr. Jacques Boussu, 1992). Pine shavings have also worked well.

Clutch:

4-6 eggs.

Incubation:

21-26 days.
